This programme is structured as a level 9, one calendar year full
time programme. This theory based programme will be delivered in a
flexible and proactive manner, designed to meet the needs of national
and international students who are registered nurses. This program
prepares and advances students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes
required to become confident, critical, analytical and research aware
graduates able to maximise resources in the provision of quality care.
It is essential that graduates of this programme will be in a position
to support the key role of nurses to critically evaluate, lead and
manage therapeutic interventions, informed by evidence based practice.
The programme will advance the student’s aptitudes in becoming
confident, analytical and research aware. The abilities to respond
safely with sensitivity to the needs of individuals and families for
local and international communities will be fostered in an articulate,
proactive, innovative and collaborative way.
