Oregon State University (OSU) is located in the beautiful campus town of Corvallis, Oregon. The University has nearly 22,000 students of whom 85% are undergraduate students and 5% are international students from more than 90 countries. OSU is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges and by a number of professional accrediting bodies. Bachelor's degree programs are offered in the Agricultural Sciences, Business, Engineering (including computer science), Forestry, Health and Human Sciences, Education, the Liberal Arts, and the Sciences. What academic terms are students admitted for?

OSU operates on a quarter system; four terms (or quarters) comprise the academic year (fall, winter, spring, and summer). Each term lasts approximately ten weeks, followed by a period of examinations and a vacation.

•                    Fall Term begins in late September
•                    Winter Term begins in early January
•                    Spring Term begins in late March
•                    Summer Term begins in mid-June

What are the application deadlines?

All applications are reviewed on a space available basis, and meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission in any term  Complete applications including all application materials, submitted by the priority deadline receive full consideration for financial aid and scholarship. 

Application deadlines for International students outside the U.S.
•                    Fall term: July 1
•                    Winter term: October 1
•                    Spring term: January 1
•                    Summer term: March 1
•                    International student inside the U.S. must apply at least 90 days prior to their first day of classes.

What are the minimum requirements for MBA Program admission?

1.            Undergraduate Degree & GPA
•                    A four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university, and a combined GPA of 3.00 on the last 90 quarter (60 semester) credit hours graded undergraduate work toward the first baccalaureate degree plus all work completed thereafter,
OR
•                    A four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university, and a 45 quarter credit-hour graduate degree from regionally accredited university.
2.            GMAT – Graduate Management Admission Test
•                    Minimum overall score of 500, and verbal and quantitative sub-scores in at least the 20th percentile range and essay score of 4.0
3.            TOEFL – Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
•                    Minimum score of 575 on the paper based version, a minimum score of 233 on the computer based version, minimum score of 91 total and subset scores of at least 22 on the internet based version (iBT), or a minimum score 7 on the IELTS.

What are the minimum requirements for MBA Pathway Program admission?

1.            Undergraduate Degree & GPA
•                    Satisfactory completion of a four-year undergraduate degree in an appropriate subject with a 2.75 GPA or equivalent overall and a minimum of 2.75 for the final year of study.
2.            TOEFL – Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
•                    Minimum score of 525 on the paper based version, minimum score of 70 total on the internet based version (iBT), or a minimum score 6 on the IELTS.
3.            Pathway Program & GPA
•                    A grade of “C” or better is required for all graduate pathway classes.  If a “C” is not achieved, the class must be taken again.  Additional charged will be incurred in such cases.

2.                   Mail a copy of all official transcripts of previous academic work, undergraduate and graduate, from each school attended to graduate Business Program Office.  International applicants must provide a certified English translation of their academic transcripts (please note, translated transcripts are not considered official.) *Current and former OSU students are not required to provide OSU transcripts.
3.                   Statement of objective.
4.                   Current Resume or Vita.
5.                   Three letter of professional reference.
6.                   GMAT score report (send directly by the GMAT testing agency – OSU MBA Institutional Code: PW4-DR-05)
International applicants must also send the following documents with the application materials:
1.                   A copy of official TOEFL scores.  If you are admitted, your official TOEFL score must be received prior to the start of your first term of enrollment.
2.                   Financial certificate with supporting documentation, demonstrating sufficient financial resources for the desired academic program.

The Online Application for Admission will require that you:
1.                   Create your own login name and password
2.                   Answer all required fields (you can save an unfinished application and return to it at a later date if needed)
3.                   Pay the application fee (US$50) by using a credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover)
4.                   The application fee is non-refundable and non-waivable and must be received before the application will be processed.

In addition to your supporting documents (transcripts and test scores), please complete and submit the OSU Certification of Finances Form as well –
