This programme is structured as a level 8, one calendar year full time programme. The theory based programme draws upon student’s previous knowledge and experience. It is designed to build upon students existing knowledge and aims to offer a more global perspective on nursing. The programme will be delivered in a manner that is flexible and proactive and is designed to meet the needs of national and international students who are registered nurses. The programme recognises that the curriculum responds to the needs, values, priorities and pressures of the students, disciplines, employers and communities we serve and is therefore committed to enhancing a learner-focused and connected curriculum. The programme will enhance student’s aptitudes in becoming confident, analytical and reflective practitioners. The abilities to respond responsibly, safely, creatively with sensitivity to the needs of individuals and families for local and international communities in an articulate, proactive, innovative and collaborative way will be fostered.

Introduction to the principle & nature of teaching & learning for Nurses & Midwives
Health Studies
Semester 2
Communication & Therapeutic Relationship
Research for Nurses & Midwives
Nursing Research – Project 1
Semester 3
Developing Knowledge for scope for practice
Nursing Research – Project 2
Tuition fee: Euro 12,000. (To be paid to the college)
Eligibility (Contd-) :
- 65% & above in English in 10th & 12th Std with English as the medium of language for B Sc Nursing as per transcript
Program start date at UL, Ireland: 2nd Sept 2013

Higher secondary Certificate (12th class)
