Nursing Career in Canada
Large Nursing shortages throughout Canada . Why?
-Median age of Canadians = 40.7 vs. 25.9 for India
- Aging Canadian population means more medical needs
-Shortage and high costs of Doctors resulting in Nursing scope being expanded
- Canada is not like US, Universal Healthcare system guarantees hospital, nursing and doctor visits free of costs
-Canadian nursing graduates unable to keep pace with demand

Net Result > shortages to continue next 10 to 20 years
