Bachelor of Nursing (BN –Top Up) @ St. Angela’s College, Sligo

This specially designed program for International Nurses prepares an internationally recognised diploma nurse to work globally and is delivered in a unique environment in the North West of Ireland. St. Angela’s College, Sligo is a college of the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUI Galway). During the course of the study students have an opportunity to familiarise themselves with CRNE & NCLEX examination as they study for the degree.

 COURSE STRUCTURE

Course content:
Students undertake a total of seven modules (90 ECTS)
1. Patient Safety in the Healthcare Setting
2. Evidence based Practice 1
3. Empowerment and the Nurse-Client Relationship
4. Professional Nursing Practice for International Nurses
5. Leadership and Management for Effective Healthcare Delivery
6. Evidence based Practice 2
7. Contemporary Nursing Issues
In addition the following will be provided:
 NCLEX / CRNE preparation
 Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification
 Manual Handling Training Certification

 Tuition fee: Euro 9,950. (To be paid to the college)

11th Sep 2013

 Matriculation Certificate (10th class)
 Higher secondary Certificate (12th class)
 Nursing Diploma Certificate & Mark Sheet
 Nursing Registration Certificate
 Passport
 IELTS Test Result Sheet
 2 Passport size photographs

Study Duration:
12 months

Eligibility:
 Diploma in Nursing and should be registered with the Indian Nursing Council
 ILETS score of 6.5
